Degree programs are available through 32 academic departments of the University. Areas of undergraduate level specialization in water resources are: agricultural engineering, environmental engineering, water and solid waste option and environmental resource management. Water resources specialization at the graduate level can be done in: civil engineering, environmental pollution control, forest resources, geology and meteorology.
The Environmental and Natural Resources Institute does not itself offer courses or grant degrees, though members of its affiliated faculty do teach courses in academic departments. Through student participation on research projects the Institute seeks to promote the training of students as water resource scientists and teachers.
