Cache La Poudre White Water Rafting Trip

Thursday, June 15, 2017 -- 2:15 - 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy a whitewater rafting trip down Colorado’s only designated Wild and Scenic River – The Cache La Poudre! This adventure offers a continuous 8-mile section of class II, III and IV rapids combined with views of steep Rocky Mountain canyons and insight from local rafting guides on the environmental history and ecology of the area for an unforgettable experience. June 15 falls within the river’s peak runoff season so rafters will truly experience the white water. This is a participatory activity, so come prepared to paddle and join in the fun!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements and Supplementary Information

Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver (available for preview at https://www.smartwaiver.com/w/550742ce7d615/web/)

Rafters should bring ID, sunscreen, water bottle, wet suit (or rentals are available for $10), a towel, dry clothes for after the trip, and money for gift shop.

Due to safety reasons, children under the age of 13, pregnant women, or anyone with a pre-diagnosed heart condition will not be permitted to participate in this activity.

Registration Fee:  $73/person  (NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN (AT ANY TIME) FOR CANCELLATIONS OF THE RAFTING TRIP.)

Schedule

2:15 p.m. Meet in lobby of Ft. Collins Hilton
3:00 p.m. Arrive at Mountain Whitewater Descents. 
  Raft trip will be 1.5-2 hours, depending on flow.
6:00-6:30 p.m. Return to MWD
7:00 p.m. Return to Hilton
